Following the terrorist attacks of  September 11, 2001  most of us made a pledge to "Never Forget." This is a chance to put some action to that familiar phrase.
God bless all those, uniformed and civilian who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11th
On 9-11-08, join a free motorcycle ride dedicated to the memory of the 343 FDNY Firemen, 61 Police Officers and all those who tragically lost their lives on that historic day. The goal is to draw Patriotic Americans together on a Remembrance Ride to honor these brave Americans."The Ride" is open to anyone with a bike. 2007 ride drew 400+. The public Ceremony is open to all.

L.A. County Fireman Mickey Juarez with his 4- year old son take a moment to reflect at the Belmont Shore front yard memorial. This stirring tribute made of 343 small white crosses bearing the names of fallen FDNY members.
"The Ride" will start at Cooks Corner and travel down Laguna Canyon to Pacific Coast Highway ending in Long Beach.  The ride will finish at a homemade memorial, at the home of a Long Beach Fireman for a breif 20- minute Patriotic Remembrance Ceremony.
